What do I need to
start using ShadowFax? |

You won't need any hardware or fax software.
There's nothing to download or install. All
you need is internet access and an email
address. Just sign up for an account and
we'll provide you with a toll-free or local fax
number. |

Do I need to sign a
contract or enter a long-term contract? |
|
| |
No. You simply pay month-to-month. Annual
subscriptions are available. |

Is my ShadowFax number
always available? |

Yes, it's always on and never busy. You can
receive multiple faxes simultaneously, so
you won't miss a fax. You're computer does
not even need to be on. Faxes are sent to
your email and stored online. |

How do I send a fax
using my email? |
|

Simply address
an email to the following address:
destinationfax#@myfax.com,
where “destinationfax#” is the fax number you're
sending to. If you're faxing someone at
888-666-7777, the email address would
8886667777@myfax.com.
Then, type a message in the body of the
email (optional), attach any documents for
faxing, and hit send. |

How do I send a fax
with my web browser? |

With your username and password, sign in to
your
secure account.
Click Send a Fax link, fill out the
form and upload the file(s) you wish to fax.
Then, click send. |

Toll-free numbers are North American-based
only. |

Are my faxes private? |

Yes. Inbound faxes are delivered to your
email (as opposed to sitting on a fax
machine). Additionally, our servers are
protected with 128-bit encryption using
secure socket layer (SSL) technology. |
